Usually, potted plants that thrive on a full sun are succulents for they're known for their tolerance of drought. But aside from succulents, you can grow plants like herbs, petunias and even salvias without worrying that they will dry out. When you decide to have potted plants on full sun, you must use a large pot for added plant space and most important of all, frequent water needs should be done as these plants are more exposed to heat.
