How do you treat a tatter leaf virus on a Citrus plant

If there's any virus that poses real threat to your citrus trees, then it's the CTLV or citrus tatter leaf virus. This type of virus is caused mechanically (garden tools) and mainly attacks the budwood thru infection resulting into severe strain, thus creating bud union. As the cause is mechanical, sterilizing garden tools such as knives is the best solution to prevent tatter leaf virus.
