If you like using compost, then you've probably haven't heard about bird feathers and how they can be used as one. Yes, it's possible and a lot have already done this as they used bird feathers in composting mainly because of its nitrogen content which is a good component to make our plants healthy. Having a chicken farm is a big help as chickens naturally lose their feather most of the time but you can still obtain those feathers from other birds; you just don't have to force it out from them.
