Wind has been a common enemy to everyone including our dear plants. The stronger a wind's impact can deal, the more damage it can cause and while some plants have their own natural ways of recovering, some don't. One common damage that it can do is causing leaves to wilt eventually leading into desiccation, or extreme drying of the leaves. Pruning is a very efficient method in protecting our plants (including trees) from the wind and if you do this properly, then you don't have to worry about the wind destroying your garden.
