Having a Matilija Poppy planted in your garden is one way of creating a vibrant environment. Also called as Tree Poppies, the Matilija Poppy is known for its resemblance like a fried egg. Its flowers are in white while it has a very intense yellow center that blooms during summer. Matilija Poppies are often found on public parks but now has been grown on personal gardens. Growing them might be a little tricky and difficult to remove once established; so just give them a warm spot and fertile soil with good drainage.
