An upright, evergreen shrub that has branches coming from a woody rootstock, the Wart-Stemmed Pincushion is a wonderful plant valued for its unusual yet beautiful structure. It's composed of golden-yellow oval flowerheads (like a pincushion) which turns into orange as it matures and can be egg-shaped sometimes. What is highly admired of this plant is their pustules which grow on the lower branches along with wedge-shaped leaves and overall a great choice for cut flowers.
