What is a Rocky Mountain fir tree?

They are considered as alpine trees and often called ‘subalpine fir' tree; the Rocky Mountain Fir is an evergreen coniferous tree that has a notable conic crown. Its bark is smooth with some resin blisters while its needle-like leaves are flat and usually in twisted form. They're often found on mountains but people nowadays grow them in their respective backyards, mainly for ornamental purposes specially during the holiday season.
