There are lots of different parasites that plague our plants. But this time it's the plant that's considered also the parasite and they're simply called parasitic (or hemiparasitic) plants. They are easily distinguished from their holoparasitic plants as the hemiparasitic plants photosynthesize and one common plant is the mistletoe.
