It is best known as Mexico's national flower; the dahlia. Considered as annuals, the dahlia has a beautiful flower and has very leafy stems, and has the striking resemblance of a sunflower or even a daisy. Dahlias are best planted in springtime and also requires a well-drained soil in order to be well-maintained.
