Leaf cabbages (or simply ‘kale') are plants that have edible green/purple leaves and usually grown as annuals. A famous vegetable in the kitchen, kale provides us nutrients such as vitamins A & K and is a very good source of iron and calcium. In order to keep kale happy, you need to provide them companionship by way of growing other plants around them; herbs like garlic and mint are good choices while you can also grow vegetables such as cucumber and potatoes.
