The spectacular blooms of the English Bluebell

English Bluebells are vigorous and bulbous perennials producing small clumps of linear, strap-shaped leaves from which rise tall stems bearing arching racemes of strongly sweet-scented bell-shaped violet flowers, in pink or white. They go dormant by early summer as they bloom from mid to late spring.
