The Fairy Iris is a rhizomatous evergreen perennial with large, iris-like flowers borne on erect, slender stalks atop clumps of long, upright, stiff, sword-like green leaves. Its flowers lasts up to 3 days, but are quickly followed by new ones, and they bloom during summer. Fairy Iris is very easy to grow, as they perform best under a full sun or part shade. In order to promote additional blooms, just remove seed pods but don't remove the flower stems after flowering.
