Michael's Flower is a Northwestern Turkey native plant, and a bulbous perennial with a display of beautiful nodding, broadly bell-shaped, deep purplish-brown flowers. These delicate flowers are complimented by lance-shaped, narrow gray-green leaves. They're best planted during fall in full sun or light shade areas with moderately fertile, well-drained soil. The Michael's Flower is very spectacular in groupings on borders, rock gardens, and even in containers.
