The New York Ironweed is a splendid and robust garden plant and usually grown as a perennial. Boasting with loosely branched clusters of intense and fluffy purple flowers, the New York Ironweed has also have upright stems that carry deep-green lance-shaped leaves. They're a perfect attraction for butterflies while its seed clusters are devoured by birds.
