The Abbotsbury Gold is a Kohuhu variety which is a large, bushy, evergreen shrub boasting rounded leathery golden-yellow leaves margined with dark green. They provide a luminous and dense variegated foliage year-round. Clusters of fragrant, tiny, dark purple flowers appear in late spring and early summer. They thrive in full sun or part shade in fertile, moist, well-drained soils.
