The Rose Queen flower is worth your precious time

An evergreen rhizomatous perennial, the Rose Queen is a barrenwort variety that has an attractive, heart-shaped, pointed leaves that emerge bronze-purple in spring, gradually aging to dark green for the summer. Open sprays of bright rosy-pink flowers emerge in mid to late spring adorned with long white spurs, hover on the ends of wiry stems. Its  lovely foliage will captivate interest all season long. The Rose Queen barrenwort performs best in part shade to full shade in average, acidic, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils.
