The Tree Cholla isn't just any typical succulent that you can grow, as it is a diverse plant which can be planted as a low shrub or a large tree-like cactus with a strong trunk. Its stems are stout and gray-green in color and has numerous sharp spines that varies in different colors. On the other hand, the flowers are bowl-shaped and in purple or pink, produced in spring and summer.
