The Mexican Petunia is a shrubby perennial boasting a profusion of vibrant lavender-blue flowers. These flower rise above the foliage of lance-shaped leaves on tips of purplish stems. Mexican Petunias are attractive to butterflies, bees and other pollinators and can tolerate heat, humidity and drought. However, they can be invasive on warm and moist climates or even in unmanaged areas. They perform best under a full sun but can also tolerate part shade, while giving them a wet soil is very important in their growth.
