The Rattlesnake plant is a decorative perennial with strappy, spotted leaves and deep, purple undersides and if you're living in cooler climates, these plants can easily be grown indoors. If conditions are just right, the plant produces bright, yellow-orange blooms in late spring and early summer. It's very easy to grow them as houseplants; you'll need a container filled with regular, good quality potting mix, then add some sand for drainage purposes. Best to place them on indirect sunlight and avoid intense afternoon sunlight.
