Generally known as the Medinilla, this wonderful houseplant will brighten up your indoors with its dramatic blooms. Called by such names such as ‘Rose Grape', ‘Chandelier Tree', ‘Philippine Orchid', and ‘Pink Lantern, Medinilla has been grown for hundreds of years as an exotic houseplant which was once prized by the wealthy and noble. The plant has large succulent green leaves, which hold onto or store moisture similar to other succulent plants. They're also covered drooping clusters of delicate pink flowers that look somewhat like grapes or wisteria flowers, usually in spring.
