A popular and lovable household plant, the Calla Lily has been widely grown for its spectacular blooms. The flowers itself are shaped like a chalice, surrounds a yellow spadix and comes along with arrow-shaped and spotted leaves. While they are really not considered as lilies, they are still member of the Jack-in-the-Pulpit family. Calla Lily blooms during spring throughout summer but its blooming period depends on its variety and location. They perform at their best when grown under a full sun to part shade, and moisture should be kept consistently.
