Ever seen a slightly different looking cactus from a normal one? If so, then what you're looking at is the Texas Nipple Cactus, a low-growing cactus that has globose stems with each stem bearing golden-yellow spines. During summer, a profusion of creamy yellow flowers show up and gives way to edible red berries which taste like strawberries. They look great in containers or as houseplants as long as you protect them from cold, while feed them with a balanced liquid feed during its growing season.
