A perfect plant for small gardens, the bottlebrush is the one that's truly recommended. Its cultivar named ‘Captain Cook' is a dense, evergreen shrub with small, narrow leaves. Its bottlebrush flowers are bright red blooming during spring, and is a a copious source of nectar for birds and hummingbirds.
