Proper care for swamp hibiscus plants

A popular pond plant is the swamp hibiscus; a familiar wetland plant that also grows on large colonies. Its flowers provide a wide range of colors; from red to purple to white to lavender. There are two ways on starting to grow swamp hibiscus; by seed or by purchasing from a garden store. The plant does dormant during winter and should be fertilized using a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer when dormancy breaks.
