The cotoneaster flowers are plants of diversity which has lots of varieties. They're also popular backyard shrubs because of their decorative structure. Although it doesn't require too much pruning, the shorter cotoneaster varieties will have to be pruned properly. Cut out diseased branches and shorten damaged ones up to the healthy branches to improve the shrub's form.
