Also known as sneezeweed, the Helenium is a flower in the sunflower family which is native to the American region. Just like the typical sunflower, heleniums have yellow daisy-like flowers and a prominent flower head. The best time to plant them is during spring or autumn. One trivia about helenium is that it was named after Helen of Troy after its flowers sprung out of her tears.
