Echeverias are beautiful plants in the stonecrop family and when it comes to having a combination of purple and black leaves, Black Knight is the one you're looking for. It may sound like a comic book hero but the Black Knight doesn't have capes, although it does produce colorful red blooms specially during summer. They can be grown into containers provided it's filled with cactus potting mix and definitely tolerates a full sun.
