The linden borer are somewhat called ‘tree killers' because of one thing: they kill trees. Notable for their long antennas much like roaches, these pests begin doing their damage as early as its larva stage. Controlling them can be of cultural method, like having woodpeckers around to eat their larva and prevent them from doing further damage.
