There are lots of heirloom tomatoes to grow and one of them is Aunt Ruby's German green tomatoes. They have a notable green (as the name implies) color when ripens and known for its irregular shape. It is best to grow them first indoors by seed then transplant them outside in a full sun. Regular watering is needed specially during hot weather conditions and use mulch to prevent plant disease.
