The familiar cactus plant you always see; the Ellisiana Prickly Pear

Let's say you love cacti but you don't like its spines, then there's a right cactus plant for you; the Ellisiana (spineless) prickly pear. Spineless because obviously they have no spines and glochids thus making it smooth when being touched. Another beauty of the Ellisiana prickly pear is that hummingbirds find them very attractive. In order to grow them, a rich and well-drained soil is required and since it's a highly drought-tolerant plant, in requires just low amounts of water.
