Growing those beautiful looking succulent shrubs called Prickly Pear

A different kind of cactus and a popular succulent shrub cultivated worldwide: that's the Prickly Pear plant. While some succulents are small once reaching its maturity, the Prickly Pear begs to differ as it grows up to 15 ft. tall. One good thing about the Prickly Pear is that it's edible; yes it is! Its fruit (when ripe) is edible (cooked or not) and the color varies from orange to yellow, while it can also be used as an alcoholic drink.
