Hybrid plants are definitely a welcome addition to anyone's garden and one you should have is the Roseum. A cross between Epimedium and Youngianum, these Roseum flowers are perennials that has ovate-pointed, mid-green leaves that emerge in spring, while beautiful bell-shaped lavender flowers. These blooms are carried in open sprays on red stems above the foliage mound. You don't have to worry about pests as they aren't bothered by them or any disease but do watch out for weevils. Roseum are shade-loving plants and they do need protection from the freezing weather.
