A lovely boast of yellow blooms with the Asahi sunflower

Considered as the False Sunflower, the Asahi flower is a sun-loving, drought tolerant plant that looks fabulous with its large, double pompon yellow golden flowers. Its profusion of bright glowing daisies last for 6 to 8 weeks all summer until fall. Asahi also features a lovely, bushy foliage that is pleasant to the eyes. They prefer a full sun and is not fussy about soils, and tolerates a wide range including poor ones. A valuable addition to the landscape, the Asahi sunflower is also an excellent choice for perennial borders or in containers.
