A plant with unique lovely blooms; the Viking bellflower

Considered as a non-spreading bellflower, the Viking bellflower is a lovely perennial with upright spikes of large, lavender bell-shaped flowers. They bloom during spring and is a wildlife favorite specially the lovely hummingbirds. Gardeners often grow them on small gardens but can also look good on borders or as container plants. The Viking bellflowers loves the full sun and can also tolerate part shade specially in warmer climates, while cutting them back after flowering will encourage growth of new flowers.
