A perfect choice if you're growing groundcovers, the Blue-Eyed Grass is the one to have. These semi-evergreen perennials is highly valued for its grass-like green leaves with clusters of star-shaped violet (sometimes blue) flowers. These blooms have yellow centers and are borne on its flowering stems during spring to early in summer. In order for them to perform at their best, Blue-Eyed Grass should be given full sun but can also tolerate part shade on a well-draining soil.
