Boosting your garden with yellow blooms with the Korean Forsythia

The Korean Forsythia is a compact, bushy, deciduous shrub with a dense, erect habit and slightly arching branches. A profusion of small pale yellow flowers appear during winter, about half the size of those of the Border Forsythia, while the ovate, dark green leaves usually have serrate margins. This plant is best grown in medium moisture, well-drained soils, while its best flowering can be obtain in full sun. They are extremely adaptable and looks great in mass plantings, hedges or in mixed borders.
