Generally known as the Parlor Maple, these Flowering Maple plants are often grown as houseplants but you can also give them the proper care when grown outdoors. These plants are upright with branching habits wherein its leaves has a resemblance to maple. Its highly attractive blooms start out as small lantern-shaped buds which eventually become large and dangling cup-shaped flowers, usually in shades of orange and yellow but can be in pink, red, ivory or white. Flowering Maples thrive on rich soil but can tolerate a wide variety of soil conditions, and grows best on either full sun or part shade as well.
