Fascinated by a Bellflower? Try growing Sarastro

Sarastro (Bellflower) is a clump-forming perennial with elegant spires of large, bell-shaped, drooping flowers in a rich violet-purple shade. Ideal for beds, borders, and even cottage gardens, Sarastro blooms during summer and its flowers are borne on upright leafy stems above a basal rosette of mid-green leaves. These bellflowers thrive on a full sun but can also do well on part shade, as long as you give them soil with good drainage with regular moisture.
