Also known as Carolina Cabomba, the Cabomba Fanwort is an aquatic plant is most commonly found in ponds, streams, and lakes where water is frequently calm and still. These freshwater perennial plants send up stems from the bottom of the body of water, and along the stems are several fan-shaped leaves which are fully submerged. They also provide a sheltered location for fish, as well as helping to manage algae growth.
