The Heath-Spotted Orchid is a tuberous terrestrial orchid boasting showy spikes, crowded with white/pink, or purplish red flowers, wherein its petals are decorated with beautiful patterns of dark streaks and spots. They prefer sunny places on lowlands or hills, and in areas with bushes and at the edge of streams. They bloom from mid-spring to late summer to which the blossoms are borne atop erect stems.
