Growing a Dawn Redwood tree isn’t that difficult

A coniferous deciduous tree, the Dawn Redwood tree is surely of great beauty. Unlike any cone-bearing tree, the Dawn Redwood tree loses its foliage during winter however, delicate flat sprays of narrow, bright green leaves emerge in spring which matures into green during summer. The younger trees have a reddish bark while the mature ones are darker and often deeply fissured. This tree definitely loves the full sun and can tolerate a poorly drained soil. They also require minimal pruning and virtually pest and disease free.
