The award-winning Deutzia x Hybrida (hybrid) Magicien is a dense, upright, bushy shrub with elegantly spreading, arching stems and particularly attractive sprays of star-shaped pink and white flowers. Abundant, they appear in late spring to early summer and cover the shrub for about two weeks. The foliage of lanceolate, bright green leaves turns somewhat burgundy in fall. Magicien is a great choice for mixed shrub borders and also perfect for slopes, woodland gardens, cottage gardens or as informal hedge.
