Just like its name, the plant Microclover is a small clover and is primarily used as a lawn substitute by gardeners everywhere. Compared to the usual white clover, Microclover mixes better with grass seed, has a lower growth habit, and doesn’t grow in clumps. Enriching the soil without the need for fertilizer is a major reason to grow a Microclover lawn. Growing them is relatively easy and the secret is by mixing the clover and the grass rather than having all grass or all clover. Like a normal grass, it will go dormant in the winter and grow back in the spring, thus caring for Microclover is just the same as grass.
