Having a bloom-full of flowers in your garden like a Gayfeather

The gayfeather (liatris spicata) mostly grows in sedge meadows but you can also have one in your own backyard. They're known for their tall purple spiked flowers wherein some of its species are excellent choice for cut flowers. It also has medicinal uses for treating diuresis and sometimes acts as a stimulant. They're also deer and drought resistant plants, so therefore it can be grown under a full sun.
