Western Goldentop plants are perennials that are mostly found on wetlands, ditches and mashes, but can also be grown into personal gardens if you want to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Often known as Western Goldenrods, this scrubby plant has small green leaves and a clustered set of yellow blooms that shows off during summer. Perhaps the main reason why horticulturists value this great plant is that it can control erosion and can adapt to almost any kind of soil.
