The Annual Phlox flower is a head-turner in the garden

Yes it can turn heads because the Annual Phlox (or simply Phlox) brings a big dose of color to anyone's garden. These amazing flowers are native in Texas wherein they're discovered by Thomas Drummond but quickly grew to fame in England and other parts of Europe and highly valued for the saturated hues of its trumpet-shaped blooms. They also grow at a moderate pace, often reaching maturity after two to three years' time. All they need is a decent amount of sunshine in order to produce the colorful blooms it's known for and can adapt to a variety of different soil conditions, as long as the ground is well-draining.
