The blum tit plum tree is (according to many) so far the easiest plum tree to grow. They're also self-fertile and tend to produce crops of plums on their own. Blue tit plum trees are products of the Czar and Old Green Gage plums which was bred in Bedford in 1938. The fruit turns to deep blue when it's ripe and it's very juicy. Grow them with a direct exposure to sunlight as it helps in the growth and production of its fruit. Just have to be careful on cankers as they're highly susceptible to this type of disease.
