They're popularly known as ‘tufted airplants' but to the common gardener it's the Guzmania. They're stemless evergreen perennials wherein some of its species are being cultivated as both indoor and outdoor plants. Guzmania is also known for being an epiphytic plant, meaning it grows on the surface and acquires its nutrients from either air or water. As indoor plants, they just need low light and putting small decorative stones around them would further enhance its visual.
