How can you not love the amazing flower called Red Campion. Sometimes called as the Red Catchfly, they are wonderful growing perennials (sometimes grown as biennial), evergreen and native throughout Europe. Its dark pink flowers are composed of 5 petals that grows on branching stems, and attracts some bees because of its nectar. Often grown on borders, the Red Campion thrives either on a full sun or shade but keep an eye on smut infection as they are susceptible to this fungal disease.
