A familiar groundcover plant; the Dark Blue Superbena

One of the most popular cultivars of the verbena is the Dark Blue Superbena. In general, they're semi-woody perennials but can also be grown as annuals. It has small but quite attractive flowers with dense spikes, usually in blue-violet. This is one great addition for front borders and also perfect as groundcovers. They enjoy average, well-drained soils and are highly drought-resistant plants that can tolerate partial to full sun exposure.
